week 9.
"this week finds us pacing the internal blocks to creativity. It may be tempting to abandon ship at this point. Don't! We will explore and acknowledge the emotional difficulties that beset us in the past as we made creative efforts. We will undertake healing the shame of past failures. We will gain in compassion as we reparent the frightened artist child who yearns for creative accomplishment. We will learn tools to dismantle emotional blocks and support renewed risk.

Bruh. I’ve been the whole week locked up at home and in the library doing uni work. So boring.. I mean, this week hasn't been the best, let's be honest. I've lacked many things this week: energy, motivation, time, sometimes even focus. It's true that reading the chapter always motivates me in some way. So, that is good, right? Everyone has these type of weeks so let's just go through it. Next week will be better for sure.
I enjoyed the chapter this week as it explained detailed steps on how to go through a creative block. Some of these included: list any resentments you have in connection with the project, list all fears about the projected piece of work, ask yourslef what you stand to gain by not doing the piece. It really is a powerful excercise to do when you're blocked. If you are please do try it:)

Think of what makes you happy. I love food so I went and tried new food this week: running sushi, Fruit desserts, asian food, Baos...
Go and try something new: experiment with your clothes, learn a new recipe or install duolingo to learn a new language
